It’s
Christmas Ornament Exchange
It’s that time of year again to start thinking about Christmas
ideas for the guild.
Tues. Dec. 08, 2009 will be our annual Christmas meeting
where the group does a variety of things to make it a fun
meeting for all before we break for the holiday season.
These are just general guidelines for the Ornament Exchange
that everyone can be involved with. Think “What would I like
to receive for an ornament?”
v It’s a one-to-one exchange-1 ornament–1
chance for the draw
v Your ornament must be home made –
no cheating!
v Fabric Art Related ornament-something we
can hang on our tree
v Material costs not to exceed $5.00 approx.
v Place your name on a card with the ornament,
this way the
recipient will know who to
thank
v Wrap your ornament, just in case you draw
your own bag you’ll
know not to open it
v Don’t decorate the bag as all bags
ought to look alike
v Place wrapped ornament in plain brown paper
bag on the table
for the ornament exchange
v Slips of paper to enter the drawing will
be available.
Put your name and member number on entry form
v I’ll call out your name during the
party
v Now think about a great ornament you’d
like to receive and make
that one for someone else to adore all your handiwork.
v Reason for anyone to enter ---
Lets have a fantastic time at our Christmas meeting
v Questions in case I forgot anything?
